How Our Process Works
Step 1
Phone Call & Rough Cost
We call you ASAP after receiving your request and through a 10 minute phone call and some photos, help determine the best solution for your needs and give you a ballpark range of costs based on previous projects we've done similar to yours.
Step 2
On Site Consultation
Once we agree to move forward with those costs in mind, we schedule a time to meet at your property to ensure we're all on the same page. If everything looks good, we'll collect a deposit and build you an accurate proposal that tells you precisely what our services will include and cost... down to the penny!
Step 3
Scheduling
Once we've both signed on the dotted line, we work together to find the best time slot in our schedule that will work with yours and keep you updated on timelines as we get closer to starting work!
Step 4
Get to Work
Our experienced and friendly crew will show up on time, confirm the scope of work with you and get started prepping for your restoration! We work exclusively on one project at a time so once we start we are there until it is done! (Typically 1-3 weeks)
Step 5
Completion
Once we've completed our comprehensive 8-step restoration process, it is time for the big reveal... Your log home will look practically brand new! We leave your property better than we found it and make sure you are 100% satisfied before departing.

General
As is the answer with almost everything about log homes, it depends! Full refinish and restoration projects can range from $25,000 to $200,000+ depending on what needs to be done. General maintenance work or smaller areas are less, of course.
A full restoration of a smaller cabin can be completed by our team of specialists in about a week. A larger log home might take 2-3 weeks depending on the details of the project.
We utilize advanced media blasting techniques to take your old finish off with organic materials that are environmentally friendly. The two main benefits to this method are;
- It is a dry process. With pressure washing, you're introducing moisture to the logs which is typically what we want to avoid!
- It is more efficient. Using a chemical stripper and water might take most of the existing stain off your home, but media blasting takes the finish off while also removing oxidized wood, revealing hidden rot, and leaving a cleaner substrate.

Technical
You might be familiar with sand blasting (which is a type of media blasting). Typically this is done in an enclosed area and sand is the material of choice.
We use a large, industrial media blaster paired with a rather large air compressor to blast small particles onto the wood to remove old finish off of your home.
